Welcome to the Genesee Valley Nurses Association! We are the professional association for Registered Nurses in all specialties, from all practice sites with all levels of education in Allegheny, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties.

GVNA is District 2 of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA). Registered Nurses may join GVNA directly ($50) or have a membership to both NYSNA and GVNA (rate varies with region). Join us and continue your learning or network with other nurses in the GVNA seven- county region. Learn about health care and health policy advocacy. Get involved.

We have numerous opportunities throughout the year for Registered Nurses that want to network with others and also desire to learn how nursing is moving with the times. Watch the website for announcements about dinner meetings, continuing education offerings, Legislative Receptions, Candidates’ Nights and social events. Consider running for office or working with us on an ad hoc basis.

We welcome all registered nurses and want you to know your voice and your ideas do matter.
